We offer unofficial badges for Girl Scouts and Girl Guides first created under the "Make Your Own Badge" program.
100% of sales proceeds for our Aviation Scouting Badges are earmarked to provide scholarships for girls and young women to fund private pilot classes and aviation licensing fees.
Scholarships are disbursed by Kentucky Bluegrass Ninety Nines Chapter of The Ninety-Nines International Organization of Women Pilots, whose mission is to encourage women aviation enthusiasts on a personal level, promote aviation education, learn from each other, and to have fun flying.
THE BADGES
Throughout recorded history, people have dreamed of flying.
We imagine how it would feel to soar through the sky like an eagle, hover in midair like a hummingbird, wishing ourselves able to travel the same great distances as an albatross.
Today, through aviation, human beings can not only join the birds but have even risen above every obstacle to fly farther, faster, and higher than our feathered friends ever could.
And fittingly, women are now leading the way.
